this sucks real bad when you are cross-country driving and whenever you check it's no longer connected and down to 1 battery light.
can you explain what you mean by "known corruption issues?"
@TX Programmer that *does* strike me as odd. I guess it's worth talking to the ATAK dev team about it; I can't imagine they've never thought about a Linux port before.
that's an interesting idea re: the stacking header. wish I had any facility at all with 3D design and printing, lol. so the idea is that the pins are repeated/stacked out so you can have more than ...
I gather this is the radio unit itself. is any of this documented? and is there some kind of cover or something we can put on the device to protect the pins sticking up?
@TX Programmer there are three buttons under the kickstand, one for backlight and two for volume - does it matter which one?
It looks like the system doesn't have any power management included. is there a way to change that which I'm not aware of? is it possible to allow the Pi to go to sleep but have the radio still fun...
@Sigmund not yet but now that the kmod problem is fixed(!) that's next on my list.
@Sigmund this is a HUGE help -- hadn't read this yet before replying in the other thread, will give this a shot tomorrow! thanks!!
@Sigmund any luck figuring out the SX1262 kmod issue? I dove into it a little the last couple days but no luck here.
no problem, appreciate the response :)
@TX Programmer that's helpful, thanks. do you guys have a fix for the issue Sigmund found with the SDR kmod after a `apt -y dist-upgrade` yet?
feel like I must be missing something.
@Sigmund logged into the forum today LITERALLY to ask about exactly this, lololol. also discovered xtrx.c was mad about something. I'm guessing that's part of the SDR hardware in the device. how do...
@Sigmund can you expand on the bit about "building a 64Gb SDRAM from scratch using the Meshtastic guide" and "adding a 1TB NVMe?" is there already support in there for an NVMe drive? and is that gi...
@TX Programmer just purchased (from Austin, where I gather you guys are located), thanks!
Hi, Is it possible to order a Nomad with 8GB RAM instead of 4GB? That would really expand the range of applications you can use it with. Thanks.
