They make the highest quality prebuilt LoRa gear on the market. They also have excellent customer service and return calls quickly. If you have a technical question you will probably talk to an actual engineer. More like a defense contractor than a civilian tech company. And their stuff is built in the USA.

Constructed very well. The built in GPS is accurate and the antenna is impressive for the size. I strapped this to a USB battery bank and works well for extended periods of time. My other ESP boards reset at power loss, not this unit. Pleased with this product.

I purchased a few Spec5 devices to use around the farm back in October. So far, I've found two main uses for them. The bigger units that don't require a phone are great to keep in the truck as permanent communication devices. This lets anyone moving around always have a way to reach back home, even when driving through dead zones. This Trekker Bravo and the other Trekker essentially do the same for me. I'll carry these while I'm on foot, and it allows me to stay connected. It'll piggyback off of the bigger unit in the truck, so I'm always within range.

I got these for use with ATAK, in an "IF SHTF" scenario, and for group monitoring and communication while backpacking, hiking, and camping through the mountains. Very easy to set up out of the box. It literally took less than 5 minutes to get them communicating with Meshtastic, and not much longer to communicate with ATAK using the right plug-in. Would definitely recommend these for purchase. Great off the grid communication!

This device can do much more than what I'm using it for. I'm simply using two of these devices for secure texting, which it does very well. Disabled GPS to increase battery time -- I wasn't interested in giving out my location. Incredibly easy to set up. Flashed and ready to work with right out of the box. Amazing!

I'm thrilled to have the ability to buy an all in one unit. VS needing a 3d printer and everything needed to put pieces together. I don't trust things directly from China like Lilygo, parts might be from China but these come assembled and flashed from Texas. Great job Spec5

These things are amazing. Performs perfectly in deadzones and gets your comms up when you need them the most. I haven't found any downsides to the product or the software. Works great for things like secure texting if that's something you are interested in. :-)

Just as advertised. Works right out of the box. Initially setup with the app in just a few minutes.

LILYG0 LORA32 fits perfectly. Battery fits. All screws etc supplied! All LORA32 attachment holes and case holes line up perfectly as do the switch, antenna, display and connector ports. Case arrived well packaged and ahead of schedule. Very good job designing and producing this case. Now the fun begins!

Amazing quality and fits perfectly if you are using the t-beam with an 18650. It does not have gaskets so it's not water resistant but the print and setup is high quality.

Good quality device, ready to go right out of the box. Configured mine as a mobile tracker and used it in my car and 18-wheeler. It showed up reliably on MeshMap.net. Form factor is good and will clip securely onto a backpack for hiking and traveling. After playing with Meshtastic for awhile I re-flashed the firmware on this device using Liam Cottles' online RNode Flasher. Now I have a fully-functional RNode for the Reticulum Mesh Network.
