This is a great suggestion and we will look into adding this feature
The Nomad is currently being refreshed. We expect to have it relisted in the next month.
The Repeater role is only necessary for extremely dense meshs(1000+ nodes). For 95% of users Client mode works better.
The mesh radio will provide both Comms and GPS location data to ATAK
Changing the "Role" from Client to "TAK" under radio settings in the meshtastic app. We don't have this detailed in our user manual yet we are hosting a webinar tonight where I will walkt through i...
The Trekker Delta requires no additional settings. We have provided you with everything setup to get you started.
Hi Joshua, You will use the Wisblock 4631 firmware. Let us know if you have any issues. -Daniel
The UHF radio and the lora radio use the same battery but we have a diode inline so you cannot charge the battery from wisblock to prevent damage to the UHF radio. That being said it means that the...
Hi jeffrey, The 2way radio function of the Pulse is separate from Lora/Meshtastic radio. It runs on the FRS(Family Radio Service) bands and cannot be encrypted.
Thanks for the updates on this. We have the Meshadv pihat inbound to integrate into the Nomad and Chris has been great to work with as well. What power supply are you using?
Hi Charles, We are working on the manual. Yes the switch on the LORA radio needs to be in the UP/ON position for the battery to charge. Disconnecting or turning off wifi when not in use sho...
We have a NanoVNA. I haven't tried it but there are ways to use an SDR as an antenna analyzer. You just need to have something to calibrate it against.
The radio boards inside are different. The Trekker uses the Lilygo T-Beam while the Bravo uses a radio board from Heltec. Customers have reported higher GPS accuracy on the Bravo but slightly less ...
This looks great. We have discussed a benchtop version of the Nomad. What would you do differently?
Hi Richard, Thank you for sharing your honest thoughts. We do know that the T-Deck plus product is much cheaper however we do feel that our Ranger is a better unit due to the Battery, the specific...
The Meshtastic Web Client does not load the message history from the radio, it only displays the messages that have been sent and received while the Client is connected to the radio. As soon as you...
Hi Joe, The Ranger has a power switch and will charge the battery even if the switch is off. So you want be able to disconnect the battery and use the device via usb power only? The board...
There are quite a few meshtastic users that will use their devices while on a commerical airline flight, blasting messages to Meshers below as they fly overhead. I'm going to assume this was the case.
What was your order number? Early on our Relays were programmed as "repeater" roles but we have changed them all to "client". If the device is on repeater you will not see it in the mesh.
