Why do messages only show up on the Android app when my phone is synced to the nomad but when you go to the web UI on the nomad, no messages show up through the conversations. Is there a setting that I did not do correctly? Because it says that I'm connected to over 500 nodes and people are talking that I can see on the Android app but not the UI on The nomad
The Meshtastic Web Client does not load the message history from the radio, it only displays the messages that have been sent and received while the Client is connected to the radio. As soon as you close the web browser you are effectively disconnecting the Web Client from the radio.
This Web Client is built and maintained by the Meshtastic open source community so unfortunately we at Spec5 cannot answer the "why" part of this question. I personally have not tried connecting the Nomad to the Meshtastic app so I am excited to hear that it does work. There are some unfortunate differences from the Web Client and the apps. Even the 2 apps(ios & android) are drastically different.
