First day I had my Ranger, I took it out driving. This popped up after several minutes of silence. It says I pinged something at 32,000 feet? I'm in Kansas, is this right? Or am I misreading this??

There are quite a few meshtastic users that will use their devices while on a commerical airline flight, blasting messages to Meshers below as they fly overhead. I'm going to assume this was the case.
You know, thats exactly what I suspected. But wondered if it was possible...
I try to do this on each flight I am on. I will typically send something like this:
✈️ SW1524 33k ft
This is my flight number and altitude if available.
I wonder what kind of range is possible with a 33k ft repeater?
Any reported contacts?
@Sigmund Yes, I made a contact with a ham in Indiana. He was in the flight path and I was at 35k feet.
@Robert Thats very kewl! I'm just wondering what sort of mile radius a repeater at 35k ft can cover. Like maybe 600-800 miles perhaps?
