Built for outdoor enthusiasts, emergency preparedness, search and rescue teams, and anyone operating beyond cellular coverage, the MiniTrekker MKII delivers significant improvements in communication range, battery performance, and deployment flexibility while maintaining the lightweight form factor that made the original MiniTrekker popular.
The MiniTrekker MKII is designed for users who need dependable communication when traditional infrastructure is unavailable. Whether attached to a backpack, clipped to a vehicle, or carried in a pocket, the device creates and participates in long-range mesh networks that continue operating without cellular service, internet connectivity, or monthly subscriptions.

The MiniTrekker MKII introduces several hardware improvements over the previous generation, including a new external high-gain antenna for stronger real-world performance, increased radio transmit power, and a significantly more power-efficient platform option for users who prioritize extended operating time.
Available in both ESP32-S3 and NRF52 editions, the MiniTrekker MKII allows customers to choose the platform that best matches their needs. The ESP32-S3 version adds Wi-Fi connectivity and MQTT support for advanced networking and IoT applications, while the NRF52 edition is optimized for maximum battery efficiency, delivering up to three times the battery life of previous models.
