The Raider is SpecFive's first high-end tactical device, purpose-built for military, search-and-rescue, and first-responder teams who need a mesh radio that won't let them down: maximum transmission range, accurate GPS location, and enough battery life to run for days, not hours. It's built around a fully metal housing: an aluminum-extrusion body capped with machined aluminum end pieces and sealed to an IP68 rating, so it holds up to the conditions those missions actually happen in, including rain, mud, dust, drops, and full submersion.
Where earlier SpecFive mesh devices have used plastic enclosures, the Raider is the first product in the lineup with a machined-metal build from the ground up. It pairs a high-power radio for maximum range with a 6000 mAh battery rated for 4–5 days of runtime on a single charge, built to last a mission, not just a shift.

- Military operations: Teams carry the Raider as rugged personal comms and GPS tracking. Its long range and multi-day battery life keep the mesh connected across the operating area.
- Search and rescue: Responders track team positions and stay connected even without cell coverage. The GPS maintains a fix even inside vehicles and structures.
First responder and emergency response: Crews can quickly set up a resilient off-grid network. The IP68-rated housing keeps the Raider operational in rain, dust, and rough handling.
Deployment
- The Raider works two ways. Carry it on your person as a rugged comms and GPS-tracking radio, or set it in place as a standalone repeater node to extend and strengthen the mesh.
- Its long range, large battery, and IP68-rated housing make it as capable in a fixed position as on a vest. Mount it on a rooftop, in a vehicle, or at a fixed point for days at a time. Teams can build mesh coverage across an entire mission area, not just carry a radio through it.
- Before any water or outdoor exposure, install the USB-C cap and DC-port plug on the unused port, and screw all antennas on tightly. Use only one charging port at a time.
